She has patiently helped me find myself again

A year ago this month, I started working with a personal trainer. I was not nice to myself during the thick of the pandemic. Like everyone else, I was just trying to get through the seemingly endless days of having everyone at home ALL THE TIME, online school, etc. So that meant no exercise and eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I don’t think I had ever been more embarrassed about myself in my entire life! So I got the courage to call my longtime friend, Kari, to help me get myself together. The Lord is so good and kind because she was everything I didn’t know I needed! She has patiently helped me find myself again. She pointed me in the right direction, and set up workouts for me that would be unbelievably challenging and rewarding. She helped me understand what I need to eat, which was huge! She gave me the tools I needed and the swift kick in the pants. At 46, the progress has been so, so slow, but Kari’s encouragement has kept me going. Anyway, thank you, Kari and @empowerfittrain, for helping me find me again and for helping me find the courage to share my journey ❤️ If you’re looking for a trainer, I can recommend her highly!!
