At Empower Fitness & Wellness, perimenopause and menopause coaching combines strength training, macro-based nutrition and daily accountability to help you feel strong, energized, and in control of your body again without extreme diets or punishing workout plans.

Perimenopause is the transition phase leading up to menopause, typically beginning in your 40s, where hormones fluctuate and symptoms like irregular cycles, hot flashes, sleep disruption, and mood changes start to appear. Menopause is officially diagnosed after 12 consecutive months without a period. Both stages affect your metabolism, muscle mass, and energy which is exactly why coaching during this time looks different than standard fitness programming.


Declining estrogen and progesterone affect how your body stores fat, builds muscle, and recovers from exercise. The approaches that worked in your 30s often stop working entirely because your hormonal environment has shifted.
